Melissa Martin (Director) has written and directed plays produced in New York, Chicago, and Toronto and at home in Pittsburgh. Her plays include The Shriveled Arm of Uma Kimball, The Last Bridge, and The Convalescence of Marge among others. Martin holds an MFA in playwriting from Carnegie Mellon's school of drama, where she also studied directing, and a BFA in acting from University of Illinois. She is a university professor and has begun to direct commercials. She wrote, directed and produced the film The Bread My Sweet. The Pittsburgh Post Gazette recently named Melissa among the Top 50 Cultural Forces in Pittsburgh. Currently, she is in development for her next feature The Loon to be shot in Pittsburgh in the next year, along with a documentary and a TV pilot and a series of shorts.

Susan McGregor-Laine (Actress) is originally from Great Britain, but she has lived and worked in Pittsburgh for over 37 years. Susan has performed with several theatres in the Pittsburgh area, including The Pittsburgh Playhouse, Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre (PICT), Quantum Theatre, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, Open Stage, The Summer Company at Duquesne University, Little Lake Dinner Theatre and Red Barn Theatre. Susan's theatre credits include Beyond Therapy; You Can't Take it With You; PIG; Anton in Show Business; Hard Times, On the Beach; and Noises Off (Pittsburgh Playhouse); Juno & The Paycock; Cripple of Inishmaan; Portia Coughlan; Uncle Vanya; A Woman of No Importance; and Heartbreak House (PICT); and The Wild Duck; and Indian Ink (Quantum Theatre). Other notable productions that Susan has been in were A Perfect Ganesh and Lettuce and Lovage at Open Stage, and Madwoman of Chaillot, Blythe Spirit; Dancing at Lughnasa; Mrs. Warren's Profession and The Dresser for The Summer Company. Susan has been appeared in three local movies, Shake 'Em Up (the movie about 4 women who play Bingo); Lift the recent movie starring French star Dominique Pinon and Heartstopper, a film made by John Russo, the well known author of Night of the Living Dead.

Helena Ruoti (Actress) most recently appeared in Heartbreak House with The Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre. Before that she was in A Woman Of No Importance with PICT and in City Theater's Fiction and the world premiere of String Of Pearls by Michele Lowe. Favorite roles include Isabel in the PICT production of The Seagull, Claire in Fuddy Meers, Terry in Sideman, Maria Callas in Master Class, and the title role in Molly Sweeney - all at City Theatre. Her career encompasses leading roles in 10 productions at the Pittsburgh Public Theater favorites include Hanna in Night Of The Iguana, the title roles in Hedda Gabler and Edith Stein, and Masha in Three Sisters. Helena performed two seasons with the Philadelphia Theatre Company, and with the Three Rivers Shakespeare Festival, The International Poetry Forum, Carnegie Mellon Showcase of New Plays, and The Pittsburgh Symphony. Her film credits include: Lorenzo's Oil (with Susan Sarandon), Passed Away, Dead Or Alive (with Samuel L. Jackson). Helena is a recipient of a Post-Gazette Performer of the year award and the Pittsburgh Cultural Trusts Creative Achievement Award for Established Artist. She currently hosts Everyday Science heard on National Public Radio.

Patrick Jordan (Actor) is a graduate from the University of Pittsburgh and a founding member and artistic director of barebones productions. He appeared in their productions of bash, This is our Youth, and The Glory of Living. A native of Pittsburgh, he has performed for City Theater, Starlight, Bricolage, Pitt Rep Provoke, The Project in New York, Shristi (in Calcutta India), JTOP, Saints and Poets, The No Name Players, and The Playhouse REP, Quantum, and Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theater. Film credits include 10th and Wolf with Val Kilmer, The Blood Feud, Dumpster and the Inecom television documentaries Johnstown Flood with Richard Dreyfuss and Expo with Gene Wilder on PBS.
